Dreaming

I'm attempting a new project.

To create a blog template.

Not from scratch. I'm not that good.

I'm using a premade template and add my own picture, etc.

Get it?

So don't be surprised if my blog template changes soon.

^.~

[no title]

There's something in my system I need to get out.

Out! NOW!

SHOO!

GO AWAY!

Ahh, it's gone now. :)

Thank you.

Serious contemplation

Someone once told me that I'm insensitive. At that time, I denied it. I wasn't insensitive, just brutally honest.

Tactless.

Insensitive.

There are some things I must keep to myself. But I don't. I tell the world.

Silly old me.

I guess, in a way, it defines me.

Trust me to be honest.

No. Don't. There are things I really DO keep to myself.

I don't criticize.

I advise.

I'm sorry if you didn't get whatever I was blabbering about.

I'm arguing with myself.

It's fun.

Try it sometime!

:D

No matter how much I change, I'll always end up the same, only rougher in texture.

Thank you!

The tale of the red dot

Friday, July 28, 2006

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Charmaine. She was busy, but she logged in just to see who was online. Thing was, when she logged in, she was suddenly bombarded with people who wished to chat with her. (I wish.) Charmaine, however, cannot chat at all, but how can she deny the people who love her?

Charmaine knew there had to be a solution, so one day, she went to see Mr. Yahoo, and asked him for a solution to her problem. Mr. Yahoo was very understanding, so the next time Charmaine logged in to Yahoo! Messenger, there was a brand new feature! And it was none other than the red dot:

THE END

A bit of school pride

Thursday, July 27, 2006

I recently received this joke on YM by two different people.

(a guy enters a flower shop)
guy: do you have a VIOLET parrot?
saleslady: are you from ST. STEPHEN?
guy: how did you know?
saleslady: because you asked for a VIOLET parrot!
guy: so if I asked you if you would havr a BLUE fish, you would say that I'm from CHANK KAI?!
saleslady: most probably
guy: and if I asked you if you have a GREEN love bird, you would say that I'm from ST JUDE?!
saleslady: no! because a JUDENITE will not ask for pets in a FLOWER SHOP!
STAND PROUD JUDENITES

Now, this does not really prove anything because who said Judenites don't ask for pets in a flower shop?

But anyway, it can be quite easily changed. How?

(A guy enters a flower shop.)
Guy: Do you have a green parrot?
Saleslady: Are you from St. Jude?
Guy: How did you know?
Saleslady: Because you asked for a green parrot!
Guy: So if I asked you if you had a blue fish, you would say that I'm from Chiang Kai?
Saleslady: Most probably.
Guy: And if I asked you if you have a violet love bird, you would say that I'm from St. Stephen's?
Saleslady: No! Because Stephenians will not ask for pets in a FLOWER SHOP!

:D

Keeping busy

Tuesday, July 25, 2006

I haven't updated for a while I guess, but I've been keeping busy.

  1. I finished Paper Mario! :D Feels awesome, because I'm not really the type to finish a game I've started. Now I'm really excited. Next choice... hm, maybe Paper Mario 2 or The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Wheeeee...
  2. I read Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants Book 2, which is The Second Summer of the Sisterhood. I loved it a lot. :) Made me cry. As did the first book.
  3. I watched a lot of movies. First, Aquamarine. I loved it. Although it's a chick flick through and through, it taught a lot of lessons and it was funny. Great to watch if you're feeling down.
  4. Movie#2: Cow Belles. Alyson Michalka and AJ Michalka! It was sorta great, you know, and I could pretty much relate because I have a sister and everything although I'm not rich. The guy, Jackson, was it? Cute. :) Kind of unrealistic, but hey, what do you expect? A documentary?
  5. Movie#3: Phantom of the Opera. Okay, to be honest, I didn't like it too much. The one I watched was a VCD, therefore I did not understand a word. And my mother was talking on the phone VERY LOUDLY, so I was practically deaf. But I like the soundtrack. The phaaaaaaantom of the opera! :D
  6. Movie#4: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It was cool. Sephiroth. Haha. Didn't like him much, because he wasn't even a character, just some boss bad guy at the very end of it all. Cool, yes; substantial, no. Besides, Cloud isn't even good looking.
  7. Movie#5: Never Been Kissed. Drew Barrymore. Honestly, it was nice. The plot however is unreal. Especially the last part? With the baseball field? Yeah. And I don't think high schools accept students with no surname? And they look too old to be in high school. I don't know. The guy was cute. But old. Ah, whatever. He's a teacher anyway.
  8. 5 movies. That's pretty much it. But anyway, that's all. Um, wasted my time chatting and stuff too. :D

I'm back. Officially, that is.

Monday, July 17, 2006

Okay. After my so-called official break from blogging (in which I still made occasional posts, but take note, that theses posts are what you would call trivial and not real blog posts.), I have finally returned with some news.

First of all, I watched Pirates 2 yesterday! Ooohh... :) I love Jack Sparrow. Who wouldn't?

But I was rather disappointed by the movie, since all reviews proved true. It was too long and did not really make much sense. Another reason is that it is very bitin! To be fancy, we shall call it cliffhanging. Man, I wanna throttle Gore Verbinski.

But then again, that's Disney for you. Sigh.

Anyhow, the second reason is... the CSA exhibit. After one and a half day of work, the Stephenian Math Society's board is finished, ending with Charmaine (madame president [I love that name. Although it's kind of annoying. BUT ANYWAY] of the SMS) concluding... "I HATE WORK."

Bow.

Hm.

Anyway, I still enjoy being president, yada yada, and I think I did a good job today explaining the board. So! No harm done, hm?

THIRD AND FINAL POINT: I have found an ancient relic. *gasp* Well, it's not ancient, nor is it exactly a relic or what, but it IS valuable. Why? Because it is none other than an old notebook of an ex-crush! (or crush, but whatever. that's not the point.) yeah, yeah, you're thinking, "That's it?" but let me tell you. I wanna use it as a diary. MY diary. Why?

  1. An ex-crush's old notebook? That is worth a ton of sentimental value. And besides, there's a certain girl's picture in that notebook. Hm, worth investigating, eh?
  2. It still has lots of empty pages. Quite tempting for someone obsessed with paper. (Me.)
  3. It has bits of funny stuff in it that can cheer me up anytime.
That's all I can think of now, but it's all true. So, what do you think? Do I return the notebook? (Since I still see him now and then, anyway) Or do I keep it? As my diary?

Am I pathetic or what?

I'm keeping it, you know. No way am I going to return the notebook and have him think that I've been digging through his stuff. Besides, I don't think he cares much about the notebook anymore.

I'm done! Thank you for reading my official comeback blog entry. Take care and have a nice day!

Lame-o comic

Wednesday, July 12, 2006

A pathetic, nonsense comic I made with paint. I'm bored.

No classes. Cool.

Oh. Hey.

No classes tomorrow.

My weak attempt at defeating blogger's block 2 minutes after declaring that I am indeed suffering from it.

Sigh
Sigh
SIGH

Sorry.

I am officially suffering from blogger's block.

What's that?

It's when you put your fingers on the keyboard and feel so hyped to type, but POOF, it's all gone. Where's the enthusiasm? The energy? The adrenaline? Gone. Gone like the wind. To use a word of Mrs. Bueno's, it's evanescent, dissipating like vapor.

I promise to come back one day.

Maybe tomorrow, who knows.

I promise that I'll write down everything that makes me think, "Hmm, seems like a good idea to put into my blog."

Basta, I'll be back.

And the next time I'm here, I want to make the words I type worth every second of your time.

Nerd Quotes and Other Qualms

Friday, July 7, 2006

"With love and matrices, one needs patience."
"I used to be a scalar quantity until you gave me direction."
"My love for you is like pi. It's a constant that never ends."
Maghahanap pa ako.... hehe. By the way, hndi ako nag-imbento nyan. Kinopya ko lng sa mga other AJSS-ers. :)

Anyway, wala lng. Blogging is fun, actually. You should try it sometime.

Seeing: The computer screen and my fingers pressing away on the keyboard.
Hearing: Ragnarok sound effects. Ahh, the soundtrack of my life.
Smelling: Nothing? My shampoo. Haha.
Tasting: Nothing. Sadly.
Feeling: The coldness of the wet towel on my lap. And cramps. Ouch, cramps. FYI, these cramps are of the feminine sort. Owwww....

See? Blogging while suffering? That's weird old me. Ouch ouch ouch.

Sometimes, I wish I were male.

Most times, I DON'T.

I happen to enjoy my double X chromosomes, thank you very much. Although they happen cause monthly cramps. Which reminds me that I am currently experiencing said cramps. Oww.

My cramps have faded, thank goodness.

So, tomorrow is my first day of CAT. Ahh!

Wala na akong masabi. Sorry.

Stuff.

Wla lng. I just read a friend's blog. Un lang. Inspired I guess. Tska in english, plan naming mag report using video. Kaso lang mahirap. But who cares! If there's a will, there's a way.

I admit, medyo nagdadalawang isip ako about the whole video thing, but since I am this stubborn girl who refuses to listen to others, I'm going through with it. May ka group ako, but they're okay with it, so why not? I think it's a pretty cool idea, even if it's hard and all.

Fine. I'll be honest.

This is my future!!!!

Sige hanggang d2 n lng. thanks!

Blogging Once A Day Keeps The Boredom Away

Sunday, July 2, 2006

Honestly. What happened to the good old days when you could turn on the computer and amuse yourself for hours? I mean, take Friendster. Once upon a time, I could entertain myself with Friendster and not grow bored. And what happened? Poof! Gone in a second.

Of course, there's still Fiction Press and Fan Fiction.net who strive to make the world a better place. How about that? But then again, I believe in a thing called "Reader's Block" and I'm sure all of you readers out there know what I'm talking about.

What about games? Go to Yahoo!, there are games. Go to MSN, there are games. Go to Friendster, there are games. Games are EVERYWHERE!

But anyway, forget about that.

Yesterday I went to this concert in Chiang Kai Shek, because Kathy was performing in it. She wasn't the only one. Daniel William Yu was there. Haha. (Sabi ni Abi, kamukha daw ni Calvin...) And also, Steph Pua! Galing galing nya! Hehehe...

And there was this old geezer/author guy who was singing (More like hollering.) but he sounded horrible. And he sang TWICE. SIX songs. Ugh. Terrible. During the second time, some people began standing up and leaving. I think the guy noticed.

Speaking of old geezers, there was another one who was the rudest, most &%#$@# jerk I have ever seen! I mean, we were reserving seats for Dianne K and Eric, then just as they came, abovementioned old geezer#2 came along and asked "Hia u lang tse bo? (Is anyone sitting there?)" We (Abi and I) replied yes, and that the people who are sitting there are standing right beside you. And what did he do? He said,"Ah, in to m tse ah. (Well, they aren't sitting.) And goes the seat and plops his big fat butt on the chair!!! I mean, hello??? What about those people standing there expecting to find a seat and finds and old geezer there??? JERK!!!!!!

Not just that, he was so uncivilized and impolite. I can't believe he's Chinese. Chinese are supposed to be courteous. And he's old!!! He clapped really loudly in the middle of the song... fell asleep about halfway through the concert. (I was tempted to throw him out.) I HATE HIM! WHOEVER HE IS!!!
