DAY 2
-woke up early to get ready to go to Taipei. (we were in Tao Yuan which is somewhere north of Taipei, I think)
-B: had soy milk, 油條, and dumplings on the bus on the way. Yummy!
-arrived at Taipei zoo. had fun watching the animals... (the second zoo I've ever been to next to Avilon Zoo, which was our first year field trip, I think)
-left Taipei Zoo at about 1 pm. arrived at Unknown Street.
-Had some 炸臭豆腐 which was really good and not at all stinky.
-L: Went to a restaurant called 豆腐娘 for lunch. See, almost the entire street sold tofu... some stores sold "tikoy balls" (they aren't really called tikoy balls there, but i can't find the chinese word for it in my chinese software, so let's just leave it as that, after all they ARE called tikoy balls here), sticky rice cakes, and almond drink powder, etc etc
-went to 中正記念堂. (It was funny because my aunt kept insisting that we go, even though it was late and we were all tired, because the Taiwanese president was going to change the name of the place because he didn't like 中正 or something and it so happened that the very next day they really did change the name already... okay, it's not really funny, just... whatever. Okay, I'll stop.) The place is more of a park, but it's a historical landmark because that's where 中正's body is.
-D: had the famous Taiwanese beef noodles 牛肉麵. Actually not all beef noodles in Taiwan is good, as is every other food. It still depends on who makes it. The one we went to put Clinese medicine in the noodles. Not that it was bad or anything, just unusual.
-went back... :D

It will, most likely, be another long time before my next post... i'm sorry... :(
