Farewell, Yukan Club.

Tapos na Yukan Club....................... WAHHHH!!!!!

I shall forever love you, Miroku, Seishiro, Noriko, Yuri, Karen, Bido.

It's the most awesome series ever. I swear. Even better than Hana Kimi (!) and that's saying something, because Hana Kimi is a romance series unlike Yukan Club which is more of a mystery series and thus has more impact on me since I'm a hopeless romantic. BUT Yukan Club brings feel-good dramas to another level. Soon, I will write a loooong review on Multiply about this awesome awesome series so that more people will know about Yukan Club. I love you, Yukan Club. I shall miss you!!!! :((

(Sorry for the immense fangirling, but I really had to. It heals the hole in my heart (because Yukan Club is over!!!) a little bit. Hey, at least it's not just about Japanese guys anymore.)

I really haven't been posting a lot...

And that's because I have nothing to say. But just to let you know I'm still alive, I'll just inform you about some news that might mean nothing to you but means a lot to me.

  1. Benazir Bhutto is dead.
  2. The Princess Diaries is ending at 10 books. (Yes, I know this sounds extremely insignificant when placed side by side with news that one of the world's most influential women was killed.)
  3. There will be a "Gokusen 3". (Ditto.)
And that's basically it. My life is I'm boring.

Reading "A Devil Wears Prada". Just finished "Gokusen 2". (not that you care)

Merry Christmas, loves!

(This is a very short FICTIONAL story. Read on. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get it.)

I don't really know when it began. It was sometime between 7th and 8th grade but I can't remember exactly when. The whole thing was a big blur for me.

One thing I know is that it began when I fell for him. Yes, him. The one and only basketball captain, who laid eyes only on beautiful curvy women who could bat eyelashes at him for hours only to have him wink in return for barely a split second.

So how would I, the kid in the corner, make him notice me?

It's stupid, I know. But sometimes, you can't help but do a little wishful thinking, you know.

There was this dance, I think, a White Dance, they called it, because it was when girls asked guys to the dance, instead of the other way around. I kind of followed him stupidly around the school, you know, wondering if anybody would ask him. Then I remembered that it didn't matter. Because it was a dance when asking guys to the dance was the girls' job, and not the guys'.

the fair and the promotion

Sunday, December 16, 2007

kahapon, nag lakwatsa lang ako all day! whee! nag fair with ja and ana... tapos later on umalis na si ja after naming maglunch sa wai ying tapos we traveled around ongpin like i always do... hehe... nakabili ako "attack on the pin-up boys"!!!!! awesome quality, so happy!!!! yaaaaaay! now i have a bit of heechul-nim to keep for myself. >.< (sorry for the fangirling)

anyway, masaya naman yung fair i guess mainly because of the people. it's great to see everybody again... :D

this morning naman, pumasok ako sa ateneo for the promotion for taekwondo. YES that's right, YELLOW BELTER na ako. But really, easy peasy lang ung promotion yet i messed up a lot... but lahat naman daw pinapasa. hahahaha. fun, i tell you.

follow-up weirdness

Friday, December 14, 2007

okay i can't help but comment on this no matter how pointless it may be. ung xtraordinary christmas thing. di ba dati may xtra large thingy na theme ung fair? i dunno. weird lang.

onga pala nag long test sa ES kanina (environmental studies). masaya cya. 60 items true or false tapos 25 points essay/enumeration. how can that not be fun? 60 items hula!!

sana lang nga tama ung sinagot ko. :D

how things got better

well. yes. lit is fun again, yay, because sir cayanan acted normal today. :) nagdrawing kami haha, ang bulok ko magcolor, nakakahiya naman, pa art team art team pa ako.

and oh yeah, my livejournal lives! di ko na lalagay dito kasi... nakakahiya pag nalaman ng ibang tao hehe, so just tag here if you want to be added as a friend. besides si ely lang naman ata may lj dito. tell me na lang ely if you want to be added. it's not friends only naman, pero i'm gonna keep it secret from others. ;)

about THIS blog naman, i was thinking of restricting it, pero di na lang siguro kasi konti lang naman gumagamit ng link na to and most people who read my blog read it on multiply and that's what i don't like kasi parang weird naman kung di mo alam kung sino nagbabasa ng blog mo. so, no restriction na, but i'm not going to go around publicly telling everyone about my blog anymore.

moving on, may block christmas party today pero di ako pumunta kasi di ako pinayagan ng parents ko. sadly. but it's okay i guess. i still see my block regularly. ang mamimiss ko lang ung food. :(( masarap daaaaaw! may lechon and stuff... and i'll not see my "baby" and how he'll react when he knows i'm his secret santa. (i'm guessing wala lang. di naman kasi kami close or anything, and di rin naman kami magka-away) anyway, okay lang din, nakapagbonding session naman kami kanina after lit telling corny jokes (anu favorite color ni pooh? pooh-la! anu surname ni sisa? mistreet! and so on and so forth) and those brain teaser things. (at last gets ko na ung dadalhin sa beach or whatever. i think you know what i'm talking about, krizia, pero baka super labo ako. :D) Bakit nga ba masaya ung mga ganun? weeeeeeeeird... :D

krizia baka suotin ko ung panda thing tmrw pero di ko sure. MAYBE. kasi di naman tlga ako nagsusuot ng ganung stuff. if not baka sasabit ko lang sa bag ko or something. :D

ely, christian, josef, everyone else, you guys going to the fair? (kayo na lang kasi nagbabasa ng blog ko eh. sob.)

bye loves. comment/tag/whatever!

making figurative lemonade

I REALLY can't wait for school to end. Seriously, ALL of my classes are boring. At least before there was Lit to rescue us from eternal boredom, but our teacher just HAD to get pissed at us and so it's currently the most unbearable class of all. And that's saying much, because how can Lit, which I feel is the best subject ever (except when Ms F was teaching, because that wasn't Lit, that was the word that begins with S and rhymes with Lit (and it's not sit. nagiging rated PG na blog koooooo)) be more unbearable than subjects like MATH and ES???

BUT not everything has been so bad. For example, Christmas is coming! You know, no matter how annoying the Christmas songs in the LRT stations may be, I kind of enjoy them. I don't know. That, however, does not mean they're not annoying. They are VERY annoying. Just in a good way. :)

Remember the Kris Kringle thing? Well, I haven't been getting anything for the past few days but TODAY I got them all! Sweet red shiny note... yay... it's a nice feeling... because for the past few days I've been all "Nobody loves meeeeee"... haha... I'm an idiot, I know.

By the way I'm going to stop posting my blog entries on Multiply and I'm REALLY tempted to lock my blog and show it only to limited people... I feel exposed... I'll just do all my fangirling in Livejournal, maybe, and my personal life here, and unimportant philosophical entries (which are not all that many) and maybe entries directed towards blockmates in Multiply. After all, most people who read this blog (and comment!) have Blogger accounts anyway. Well actually fangirling I MIGHT post on Multiply. I'm not fangirling here anymore, see? Because I know you guys don't like them so much and you'd appreciate ranting more. So I'm RANTING and not fangirling now.

I'm not removing Jinnie's pic though. You can't see it anyway, since it's tiny and a little bit further down. :)

That's all. Thanks, loves, and take care! COMMENTS or TAGS are most welcome! <3

more stuff...

hello again...

today was a very bunnies-filled day for me, mainly because classes were boring and um, well. basta.

medyo wala akong magawa... i'm just blogging so that the ratings thing isn't my last post because it's a sucky last post, if you ask me.

oh yeah, nagkaroon ng amazing race in binondo and our team won 2nd place. I guess I should be happy. Yay. But really, when you realize that you should have won 1st and gotten 3000 pesos (for the entire team) instead of a t-shirt (a nice t-shirt, i guess, but still), winning 2nd place doesn't sound so nice anymore.

medyo nakakatamad magkwento so well, I'll just shout out to my teammates jes bea and rachelle. hello! everybody else say hi! :D oh and our faci cristina! yay!

um. the background isn't showing up anymore, is it? i'll try to fix it...

so. the block has a kris kringle thingy and tomorrow we're supposed to give our "babies" something sweet... cyempre di ko lalagay dito kung anu bibigay ko, duh. ano ako, stupid?

moving on... (see? i told you. i'm not feeling the happiness today, that's why i'm all moody and such. i DO feel better though.) bukas na ako manonood ng "death of memory" (a play which we're required to watch for lit) and apparently, at least according to danica (and i fully trust her judgment) it's gross in some parts but okay naman daw yung story. which is a good thing. gross things i can tolerate but horrible story, no.

i'll be going to the SSHS fair this saturday. okay, if you're a Stephenian, pupunta ka ba? when? hopefully kahit na saturday na ako pupunta during which there are very few people, i'll still be able to see you guys. :) if you're not, punta ka na! it's this friday and saturday sa St. Stephen's. it's FUN!

i'm moooooody today, i tell you. thus the pathetic attempt at a post. i still appreciate comments/tags though. flood all you want. it makes me happy. :)

i know it's still early, but Merry Christmas, guys. enjoy the holidays! :)

I told you my blog is as squeaky clean as it can get

I played this once on piano during a recital. It's such a wonderful song. (Medyo mahina to, so you might want to increase the volume. :D ) Enjoy guys!

Among other things

Has anybody noticed that I regularly change that "Currently Obsessing Over" thing on the sidebar? And that I added this thing recently on the side called "Picture of the Moment" and has a (cute) photo of Akanishi Jin in it (I revoke whatever I used to say about whoever being the cutest guy in the world, because whoever it was, I'm pretty sure he does not look better than Akanishi Jin.)

Those things aside (including the fangirling) I'm going to list down how I've changed ever since I began studying at the Ateneo. :)

  1. I've become less of a homophobe. Not that I used to be a homophobe, I was just really uncomfortable with the topic of homos back when I was still a Stephenian. Reasons why I'm less freaked out now:
    1. Homo teachers and classmates. Not that I have a lot, but I do have some. Like my lit teacher (probably the teacher with the most mentions in this blog. seriously.) he speaks so freely about his, ahem, boyfriend and I just try to ignore, but come on! the most homo i've encountered in St. Stephen's would have to be Mr. R**** but even he's not this bad...
    2. Fluid. Nuff said.
    3. The fangirling! A lot of other fangirls (not me, mind you) are obsessed with yaoi... okay... but really, these pretty boys, they don't care if others think they're homo so they just go around being all touchy feely with fellow pretty boys. Not that fangirls mind though. It's all just fanservice, folks.
    4. The sheer amount of homos in Ateneo. They're everywhere!!!
  2. I'm less of a procrastinator. Okay, scratch that. I'm still a huge procrastinator except that now I actually procrastinate rather than completely ignore schoolwork. There's a difference, okay? I actually DO my homework beforehand now. I even study for tests! :O *gasp*
  3. I'm *in my opinion* a lot more open and friendly, note: less quiet. I mean, before I rarely talk to people I'm not familiar with, but now I actually DO. I'm surprised by myself. :D
  4. (in connection to the previous item) I know a lot of new people... it's likely that I actually DO know 500 people! That, my friends, is an achievement. Well, at least for me.
That's all, loves.

OH SHOOT, E.S. PRELAB! XP

Song Sharing! Sakura Sake (Arashi); Naniwa Iroha Bushi (Kanjani8); Rokkugo (Super Junior T); Dancing Out (Super Junior)

Saturday, December 1, 2007

Song Sharing Time! This time, though, instead of only mp3 clips, we have the entire videos! :D They're all in this embedded player thing. :D

BUT FIRST! Here are the intros! (I'm somewhat (trying to be) like a virtual DJ.)

First off we have Arashi's "Sakura Sake"! :) Another happy feel-good song. The video is weird at times, but it's inspiring *i think* because the song basically talks about youth and stuff.

Next we have "Naniwa Iroha Bushi" by Kanjani8, which is another band under Johnny's Entertainment, the same company that handles Arashi, KAT-TUN, Ikuta Toma, etc. This song is wonderful because it's just like a modernized Japanese Enka song which completely immerses us in Japanese culture. Even if you don't like boy bands, you might want to try out this song to learn more about Japan. :) This song is actually the first song of Kanjani8 that I've tried and I don't know anyone in it except for You Yokoyama (who starred as Seishiro in Yukan Club) and Nishikido Ryo (because I see his image all the time in LJ communities). Enjoy!

Our third video is of "Rokkugo!!!" by a subgroup of Super Junior, Super Junior T. The T stands for Trot which is a genre of Korean pop music aimed at adults. "Rokkugo!!!" is a play on the word "Gokkuro" which means "upside down" (so it's a pun, get it?) Anyway, the song is very high-energy, and it's also a great way to immerse in Korean culture, despite the song being a modernized version of trot (it has rap, after all).

The last video for today! :) This time it's by the entire Super Junior group, entitled "Dancing Out". A very happy song, in my opinion, similar to "Haeng Bok". Anyway, the video was filmed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and it shows just how pretty the city is... :D Enjoy!

And the videos!!!

In passing (part 2)

Friday, November 30, 2007

Ikuta Toma's gonna star in a "Honey and Clover" live-action series in January with that girl from the movie "Waters"!!! (Sorry, I just couldn't not mention it.)

In passing

Walang pasok today! Bonifacio Day. Not that it's spent to commemorate his death. I spent the entire day watching Super Junior (Korean boy band) videos. T_T Total waste of time pero enjoy... they're funny! The fact that they're pretty is just a bonus.

Anyway, a bit of song sharing again now. :)

This song is called "U" by Super Junior (K). It's extremely catchy... love it to bits. The video isn't bad either. ;)

The next song is "Keep the Faith" by KAT-TUN (J). It's not as cheer-uppy compared to U and not as catchy. But it's still great! Mainly because it's the theme song to "Yukan Club". Okay, kidding. Really. It's a great song. :)

Do you guys even listen to these songs that I post? A yes or no would be fine. I know they're all Japanese and Korean and you most likely don't understand. But they're great songs, really, and besides you can easily understand "'Cause I can't stop thinking 'bout you, girl." (a line from U)

Oh and Mike He is in Yukan Club 7th episode!!! (Mike He is the Taiwanese guy that starred in "Devil Beside You" and "Why Why Love" with Rainie Yang) He's playing some kind of Arabian oil prince (ridiculous, I know >.<) and is partnered with Karen. :) I haven't watched it yet because I can't download it since it slows down my dad's game. -_- As an end to my post, I want to share this Guidon article on its website. Enjoy! ;) http://theguidon.com/breakingnews/ateneo-shoots-up-in-world-rankings

2008 in film

Thursday, November 29, 2007

They're nuts, I tell you.

Did you know that Dragon Ball is being made into a movie? Psh. There are loads of Dragonball movies, what's wrong with you? May I mention that it's a live action HOLLYWOOD movie.

I seriously can't imagine.

I'm not a Dragon Ball fan. In fact, I know nothing about Dragon Ball, so maybe real Dragon Ball fans will be thrilled to find out that it's going to become a movie at last. I don't know. I still think it's a bad idea.

Anyway, there's also a new "Mummy" movie coming out, except Rachel Weisz won't be in it. What??? I loved the Mummy movies, but no Evelyn? (well actually the character has a minor role in the movie but is played by someone else.) I'm disappointed.

They're even making a Smurfs movie. And "Blindness"! :D It was a book report last sem. (I actually don't know if I should be happy or disturbed (the book after all, was disturbing) but anyway. Who cares?)

Pixar movie WALL-E is on its way, too. It seems pretty good. Different from previous Pixar films, I think, because this one is more sentimental that funny (like most other Pixar films which all have a sentimental/emotional feel to them yet are still funny. for example, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, I guess Ratatouille (I haven't watched it D: )) Anyway summary!

"WALL-E is the story of the last little robot on Earth. He is a robot that his programming was to help clean up. You see, it's set way in the future. Through consumerism, rampant, unchecked consumerism, the Earth was covered with trash. And to clean up, everyone had to leave Earth and set in place millions of these little robots that went around to clean up the trash and make Earth habitable again.

Well, the cleanup program failed with the exception of this one little robot and he's left on Earth doing his duty all alone. But it's not a story about science fiction. It's a love story, because, you see, WALL-E falls in love with EVE, a robot from a probe that comes down to check on Earth, and she's left there to check on and see how things are going and he absolutely falls in love with her."

Now wasn't that sweet? :)

Okay, moving on. A horror movie is coming out January 4 called "One Missed Call" but I'm not going to talk about that movie. Rather, I'm gonna talk about the Japanese horror movie it was based on (same title) and I found it fascinating. I never liked horror movies, especially those with shocking scenes. I HATE those. However, reading the plot of horror movies is not at all scary but fun. So, to end this post, here's the summary of Chakushin Ari (taken from Wikipedia). It's fascinating stuff, I tell you.

The film begins with a group of college students at a restaurant. While Yumi Nakamura (Kou Shibasaki) is trying to turn on the pot for sukiyaki, Natsumi Konishi tells her friends about Yumi's fear of peering into holes. Upon being asked whether her fear stems from a past trauma, Yumi has a flashback involving somebody clipping nails and an eye peering through a hole. One boy, Kenji, at the table relates a story about how a friend of his moved into an apartment where a woman had committed suicide and how he was haunted by the ghost of a woman. A ghostly hand appears on Yumi's shoulder and slithers out of sight. Yumi turns to see Yoko Okazaki (Anna Nagata) dressed in all black. She just came from the funeral of a high school friend.

Yumi accompanies Yoko to the bathroom while she changes clothes. Yoko tells Yumi how her friend died. Apparently she and others were swimming in a lake when the girl drowned. She was found encased in a block of ice with a terrified look frozen upon her face. While washing her hands, Yoko's cell phone rings. Yumi notifies Yoko, but Yoko says that isn't her normal ringtone. She picks up her phone and notices that she has one missed call. She and Yumi listen to the message that comes from the day after tomorrow. They hear the bell of the warning of an incoming train and Yoko saying, "Oh no, it's raining." Then both girls are shocked by a horrific scream coming from the phone. The message is replayed for the benefit of the rest of the group at dinner. After a bit of discussion, Kenji says that a friend of his has a hotel at a nearby lake and they all make plans to spend a weekend there together and program Kenji's cell phone number into their phones. The mysterious message is seemingly put out of mind.

In a morgue, a man approaches the body of a woman and he opens her mouth to search inside the windpipe for something. He is caught by a worker.

Cue to two days later. Yumi, Natsumi, and Yoko are in a child psychology class and Yoko is too busy text-messaging Kenji (for whom she is dumping her boyfriend) to pay attention to the lecture. Yoko is called upon the professor to reiterate the day's lesson, which is "Abuse spawns abuse." The bell rings to dismiss class and Yoko leaves for her part-time job. Natsumi notices that Yumi is lost in her own world, a sullen look upon her face. When asked what's wrong, Yumi gives a fake smile and says she's fine.

Later that evening, Yumi receives a phone call from Yoko. The same warning bells are heard from the message from two days ago. Yoko invites Yumi to go swimsuit shopping for the trip to the lake. As Yoko is talking, several chains on the chain link fence on the bridge that protect bystanders from the train tracks are broken by an invisible force. A few raindrops fall on Yoko's hand and she says, "Oh no, it's raining." Both girls freeze as they recall the message. An odd sound is heard and Yoko turns around. She screams the exact scream from the message and is thrown through the fence onto an incoming train. She is trapped between the moving train and the steel beams holding the cables. Two girls who were talking on the bridge have witnessed this event. The camera then shows Yoko's severed arm dialing a number on the cell phone.

At Yoko's funeral, Yumi goes to Yoko's room and while upstairs, she notices a strange man (the same man from the morgue) roaming the premises. She leaves with Natsumi where they hear a group of high school girls talking about Yoko's death. One says that Yoko must have gotten the phone call. Yumi confronts the girl and Yumi and Natsumi are told about a phone call that comes from a time in the near future that is also the time of the recipient's death. The girl whose funeral Yoko attended earlier received a similar call.

A couple of days after Yoko's death, Yumi and Kenji are talking about the death and Kenji is a little freaked out. He hands Yumi his cell phone which has a message that comes from only two minutes from that point in time. In the message, Kenji says, "Aw shit, I totally forgot", and then screams. Kenji convinces himself that it's just a cruel prank and heads to the elevator. A girl Kenji knows calls to him and tells him that he is supposed to be at their study group. Kenji says, "Aw shit, I totally forgot", and gets a look of horror on his face. The elevator behind him opens up to reveal nothing but the shaft. The odd sound that is heard right before Yoko was thrown from the bridge is heard again and invisible hands grab Kenji's ankles and drag him down the elevator shaft. The doors close and Yumi falls to her knees. The doors open again to show a group of students in the elevator car and notice a shocked Yumi. Kenji is shown at the bottom of the elevator coughing up blood and a red candy ball.

That night, Natsumi spends the night at Yumi's apartment. Natsumi's cell phone rings, but it's only her ex-boyfriend. Yumi hangs up the phone and turns Natsumi's and her own phones off. The girls go to bed, but Yumi is restless and gets up a few hours later. A phone rings. It's the same creepy ring that came from Yoko's phone. Yumi wakes up Natsumi in a panic and the girls check Yumi's phone. She's safe. But that means Natsumi's phone was the recipient of the phone call. This time, instead of a message, it's a picture on the phone's screen. It's of Natsumi and the ghostly appearance of a young woman behind her.

The TV news media has gotten wind of these frightening messages and they soon corner a fearful Natsumi and offer her an opportunity to appear on a TV show with an exorcist. They promise to get rid of whatever maleovent spirit that is planning to kill Natsumi. She accepts, despite Yumi's objections, willing to do anything that will prevent her upcoming death. The TV crew drags her away, leaving Yumi alone. She notices the strange man from Yoko's funeral and runs to confront him. His name is Yamashita Hiroshi (Tsutsumi Shinichi) and he's been obsessively following the case of the odd phone calls ever since his sister, Ritsuko, supposedly received such a call and later died of severe burns from a fire. The two team up to solve the mystery, hopefully before Natsumi's time is up.

They start by finding the owners of a phone number off of Hiroshi's sister's burnt phone. It is a hospital and they have no records of either Ritsuko or Yoko being there. While at the hospital, Yumi hears the odd sound that appeared at the deaths of both Yoko and Kenji. It turns out to be the spray of an inhaler for an asthmatic girl in a wheelchair downstairs.

They go to the police station for help, but are denied by the police chief. They later go to a guy who has various pictures of corpses looking for a bit more information. He shows them, amongst others, a picture of a ten-year old girl named Mimiko Mizunuma (Karen Oshima) who died of an asthma attack. They learn of a woman named Marie Mizunuma (Mariko Tsutsui) who is suspected of abusing her two young daughters.

No closer to solving the mystery, they go to the studio where the TV show that Natsumi is appearing on is set to film. The exorcist is starting his ritual and there's a large clock counting down the seconds to where Natsumi's message is from. Strange things begin to happen and Yumi and Hiroshi break past security onto the set. A disembodied voice says, "Let me take you...", and Natsumi's body starts twisting around abnormally. Her head is turned around and around until it completely tears off, Natsumi's body falls to the floor. Natsumi's severed head coughs up a red candy ball, like Kenji and it rolls to Yumi. Yumi's cell phone then rings the ringtone of death, signaling that she is next in line. Her message comes from just 16 hours in the future and says only, "Why...?"

Hiroshi takes Yumi to her apartment and he notices cigarette burn scars on Yumi's arm. He becomes upset when Yumi tells him that the injuries were inflicted from a cruel mother. Her father worked too much and never was around. Her grandmother tried to protect her, up until one horrible day. Yumi has a flashback to coming home from school as a young girl. Her mother, clipping her toenails, tells Yumi to get her grandmother. Yumi obeys and goes to her grandmother's room. She sees a hole burnt through the paper wall and she backs away, right into her mother. Yumi's mother burns the little girl with her cigarette and grabbing Yumi by her hair, she forces her to look through the hole. She sees her grandmother has hung herself. Young Yumi screams and present-day Yumi completely falls apart.

With little time left, the two work on unraveling what's behind the calls. They figure it has to be Marie's spirit, still wanting to cause harm to people. Hiroshi is led to a little girl named Nanako Mizunuma at a children's hospital. She is mute, supposedly due to abuse. Nanako is pretending to listen to her teddy bear's heart with a play stethoscope. One of the women who works at the hospital presses the teddy bear's belly, which in turn plays a song. It happens to be the exact tune that is the ringtone heralding death. It is from a popular children's program. Hiroshi asks Nanako if she knows where her mother is, but Marie has been nowhere to be found for the past six months.

Hiroshi and Yumi end up at Mizunuma's apartment, which has stayed exactly the same, though the tenants have left six months ago. Yumi finds the torn picture of Nanako, Marie, and Mimiko, and also sees the ghost of a woman in the cabinet above her.

Now positive that it's Marie that is behind the deaths, Yumi ends up at a long-abandoned hospital late at night. Yumi only has a very short time left. As she enters the hospital, she hears a cell-phone ring, and the ring-tone sounds like Yamashita's. She then heads to look for the source. She then finds a cell-phone crawling with maggots, and has a call waiting for Yumi; as she runs out of the room, the ghost of a woman creeps up behind her. Then, she is being haunted by a ghost pushing jars of preserved fetuses towards her, and the ghost eventually puts a jar in Yumi's arms. She flees, then something is dragging her, and then she sees a girl slamming a cupboard shut, and is then found by Hiroshi. As they head for the door, they find the door to the outside chained; when Hiroshi tries to unlock the shackles, a woman's hand grabs his hand, and then something slams the door with force, and then a force makes an imprint of what appears to be a face. They then run into a room, and they get ready for whatever that was, and just when they thought they were safe, they both hear the sound of the ring-tone of death; the phone displays "Your life remaining: 56 seconds". After the ring-tone stops, Yamashita sees the corpse of Marie with a cell-phone calling Yumi's phone. Yamashita stops the call, Yumi then goes toward the box with Marie, and Marie reanimates, and walks towards Yumi, Hiroshi pulls Yumi away from the corpse and as they are about to leave, and invisible force separates Yumi and Yamashita. Marie then closes in on Yumi, and gets ready to choke her. Hiroshi, who is trying to get into the room, hears his sister's voice. He turns to see her, and she tells him that each person has "several skies". Then she disappears. Yumi then "sees her mother" in the corpse and embraces her. Hiroshi then breaks in the room and finds Yumi with the corpse.

Hiroshi drops Yumi off at home and goes to the police station. The same woman from the children's hospital has brought in a video tape from a camcorder in the Mizunuma's apartment. The tape shows an incident where Mimiko slits Nanako's arm with a large kitchen knife. Mimiko tells the crying Nanako that she'll take her to the hospital. Marie Mizunuma comes in to find Nanako on the floor and Mimiko holding the knife and a cell-phone. Marie is upset that it's been Mimiko abusing Nanako all along and that she has been unjustly accused of the abuse. Mimiko begins coughing and goes into an asthma attack. Marie picks up Nanako and takes her to the hospital, momentary glancing at her older daughter, turning blue from lack of oxygen. When Mimiko fell to the floor, she landed on Nanako's teddy bear, which played the song from before. Mimiko dies shortly thereafter.

Nanako is brought in, and, silent at first, she speaks up when Hiroshi finds a red candy ball in Nanako's purse. Nanako then explains that whenever her sister hurt her, she would give her candy and wish her a speedy recovery. Hiroshi runs to Yumi's apartment in light of this new information.

Yumi has showered and while drying her hair, she doesn't notice that her clock is going backwards. It resumes normally when it reaches the time when Yumi was supposed to die. Yumi hears Hiroshi at her door, asking if she's OK. Yumi runs to the door, but realizes that it sounds like Hiroshi's voice on repeat. He keeps asking her if she's OK. Yumi, getting over her phobia of looking through small holes, notices Mimiko standing there. Yumi moves out of the way just in time to avoid getting impaled by a sharp metal object. She goes to her living room where she finds Mimiko sitting on her couch, eating candy. Yumi asks, "Why...?" which appeared to be Mimiko's cue. She slowly comes toward Yumi, who then screams in horror.

Hiroshi bursts into Yumi's apartment to find Yumi sitting on her couch, reading a magazine. She looks up at Hiroshi in puzzlement. He asks her if she's OK and she goes to him saying that she's fine. He hugs her and then looks down. Yumi has stabbed him in the stomach. He falls to the floor and looks into the mirror to see not Yumi's reflection, but Mimiko.

Hiroshi blacks out and has a dream that he is at the Mizunuma apartment and finds a barely-breathing Mimiko on the floor. He holds the little girl and administers the inhaler medication. He wakes up in a hospital to find Yumi standing nearby. She goes over to him, holding a large kitchen knife. She leans down and drops a ball from her mouth into his. Hiroshi accepts the candy and enjoys the flavor. Yumi steadies her grip on the knife and smiles as the film ends.

i can't imagine it. i really can't.

Happy Birthday, Danica! :D

oh. mathirang mathibay tomorrow. good luck and God bless, guys!

Anyway. lumindol kanina. akala ko may sumisipa ng chair ko. the entire block thought the same thing. haha! :D (i was in filipino class)

hm. i don't have a lot to say. sa tagal kong di nagcocomputer di ko na maalala routine ko (blogs, mail, comics, multiply)

okay. i admit it. i'm boring.

ZZZZzzZzZz.....

Monday, November 26, 2007

You know how when you're REALLY hungry and try to ignore it, it suddenly goes away? You call it "nalipasan ng gutom". And well. Nalipasan ako ng antok.

Today is the last day of the 90th Anniv Concert for St. Stephen's High School. It's 12:43. And I'm still up, doing my ES report. Kakatapos lang thank goodness. I won't be awake till 1:00 am. :D

As I type this, the wind is blowing really hard. Fingers crossed that Typhoon Mina might somehow change her mind and pass by the beautiful city of Quezon City (dahil nandun school ko) tomorrow morning and I won't have to wake up at an extremely unholy hour (5 am. which means i only have 4 hours of sleep left. eep.) to go to school and attend ES lab at a slightly less yet still very unholy hour. (7:30)

Bye loves! Enjoy your Monday! (referring to the Stephenians who have NO CLASSES!!!)

whee!

meron nang chocolatier 2! yay! (but sadly poor charmie has no time to play)

speaking of no time, i have tons of homework in ES lab to be submitted on monday at 7:30 (!!!!) but i have no time at all except now (until 2 pm which is our call time) dahil sa 90th anniversary thing na yan. well, to all the people who i told about it and said it sucked, forget what i said. with the orchestra and the lights, it's amazing. trust me. kami ngang nasa stage na amaze sa orchestra habang kumakanta (distracting, really) our COSTUMES on the other hand (speaking for the stephenian chorale only since the elem chorale, the adult choir, and the angelic voices have great costumes (you should see the adult choir)) look like ewan... nung una kong nakita akala ko Joseph and the technicolor coat. oh wait, wrong time.

btw, and red thingy na parang short pants (si precious ba nagsabi sayo nun?) ay CURTAIN. gets? haha :D now you do.

but okay, the good thing about the 90th thing is that we eat a lot for free. (well free for us, not for them) it's like mga 2:30 meron snack, tapos 5:30 pa lang dinner na then mga 8:00 or so may snack ulit. so we're all turning into little pigs but hey, who's complaining?

the bad thing/s? well. first. suuuuuper late kami pinapauwi. nung thursday 9 pm, kahapon 10:30. buti pa mga high school and elem and teachers kasi walang pasok sa monday. eh kami???? i have to wake up at 5 am on monday you know!!! that's why i'm praying that typhoon mina will come. (i'm selfish and not thinking about the people who might die/lose their homes because of mina. well. sorry kayo bwahhaha joke lang di ako ganun ka evil.)

FANGIRLING MODE: i haven't watched the 5th episode of yukan club yet! :(( baka sa monday na.. sigh. and oh yeah, wu zun's gonna have this new basketball drama called "Hot Shot" with Jerry Yan and Alan/Show Luo. Hahahaa.... i somehow can't imagine, but it's probably gonna be big. sounds cool but kind of corny at the same time. parang MVP valentine (the one with 5566 a couple of years ago) i don't know. mixed feelings. :D

on the other hand, Kamenashi Kazuya is gonna be in a drama series adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi's (creator of Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha) manga "1 Pound Gospel" about a boxer and a nun. this one sounds a LOT better than "Hot Shot".

Oguri Shun is also starring in a new drama "Binbo Danshi" to be aired starting january 2008 right after Yukan Club. Yay! He plays a college student that has to pay off a debt of some kind (in short i have absolutely no idea)

AND Ikuta Toma stars in a remake of Honey and Clover (since I think this has been done a billion times though i haven't watched it yet)!!! Yay!!! Yay! Go Toma! :D He's gonna be in it with Narumi Riko who plays the sick girl in the movie "Waters" that starred Oguri Shun (i have it, you can ask me for it if you like)... I'm so excited!!! hahahahhahah

okay i'll stop now. Bye loves! sorry for the lame post but i'm just bored and wasting time that i'm supposed to spend on my ES homework.

in the meantime, why don't you reread my entire blog, and even my friendster blog as a trip back in time... :D

hi ely!

Sunday, November 18, 2007

just testing out ely's new spiffy widget thingy... or maybe she really does just edit it everyday or something, i don't know. haha... try ko na lang. might delete this post but not sure pa... haha wala naman ata makakabasa nito eh :D

looooooong post

stupid pldt. nawalan ako ng internet for 2 days. buti n lang di nman kailangan kundi i'm gonna sapak them people in pldt.

ANYWAY today we had taekwondo. haha i felt like i was in a korean drama or something. i learned a lot already! first day pa lang. punching and kicking na grabe. for each movement we had to shout and stuff and i reaaaally wanted to laugh out loud (i laugh at everything, trust me) pero ang serious nilang lahat so i had to settle with smiling discreetly then i'll lose my balance or something but since i didnt want to lose the rhythm (dahil sabay sabay lahat ng tao) i just like swing my arm/leg around like ewan. unfortunately, the teacher saw my useless limb swinging sometimes and i feel that he's thinking that i'm hopeless... eep. still, you know. fun pa rin.

i was reading bernadee's blog... bakit ung self-description nya ang lalim pero sa akin hindi. haha :D

um. math is still boring. reminds me of mrs shiny shoes. (name withheld to prevent mrs shiny shoes from kicking my behind if she reads this (though she most probably never will) even though she probably knows that she's being called shiny shoes. to other people, esp mga taga st stephens, you probably know who she is) as in kahit boring ung class di nakakaantok dahil sa dami ng exercises na pinapagawa sa klase.

nanowrimo word count is improving but i'm about 99.9% sure i won't reach the 50k word count. not just because i'm lazy but also because i'm too much of a perfectionist in a way. i want to make every word perfect and in no need of further editing. nanowrimo was made for people who want to just write and write all day with no concerns about grammar or awkward sounding sentences. if there was a national blogging month, on the other hand, i'd probably do 50k in like a week (okay, hyperbole right there.)

the other day in filipino class sir respeto mentioned something about bloggers having discipline. hm... discipline? do i have that? i can't even finish watching a japanese/korean drama that i'm actually ENJOYING. tell me about discipline. but then again, i guess i do have discipline (ahem ahem) because i keep blogging though i probably should have multitudes of people reading my blog by now since it's been quite a few years since i began blogging.

tomorrow is faculty day meaning hanggang 1:30 lang classes namin. ironically, faculty day at THE ateneo does not mean that the faculty will be getting a break but that students will get time off while the teachers have a meeting. i'm doubting that it's actually a meeting though. maybe it's a party where the teachers wear party hats and dance the limbo (okay too much television for sure) but it's probably a fun meeting and not a stuffy old meeting where all they do is sit around and listen to somebody talk and eat donuts and drink coffee and stuff (TOO MUCH TV)

is it obvious that i'm trying to make this post reeeeeeally long?? it isn't right? good.

okay some fangirling. another japanese drama this time called "YUKAN CLUB" starring Akanishi Jin and Tagushi Junnosuke, both from KAT-TUN. It's kind of a mystery show, and it's a comedy. and it's funny. seriously. as in i'm laughing out loud like "hahaha" when i watch it (and trust me, i never laugh out loud when watching tv shows alone. don't know why. maybe because i feel stupid. but i DO laugh when i'm watching with someone because i don't want others to think i'm manhid or whatever) but it's just funny to watch the characters (since this is a very character-driven drama) and their quirks, like there's this guy who's gwapo and cool and everything but when this girl dumps him (though not harshly) he just breaks down and cries.... i don't know if you find it funny but i do. ay basta. i just like it. i'm downloading it because it's so hard to find online (but there ARE online vids like on crunchy roll but only the 1st and 3rd eps there).

i doubt if you guys will read this far. i mean, i've been babbling on and on and on about random stuff and i'm not observing proper capitalization and writing run-on sentences. but who cares? in my blog there are no rules. bwahahahhaa!

um ok. no, i'm not yet done. who said i'm done? i've been typing for a long time. but my fingers aren't hurting yet. maybe because i'm pausing for a few seconds every once in a while to see what my ka-YMs have sent to me. yeah. maybe. but that means i'm also typing responses to my ka-YMs and that means more typing and more finger work! haha. it's surprising how my fingers don't ache yet but my back reaaaally hurts now because i'm working on my laptop which is currently on the bed and i'm sitting on a loooooow chair. ow. my aching back.

tomorrow may celadon week GA and i'm going, whoopee. :D bea and rachelle and maybe jes are going too (my blockmates and i guess, barkada in college) wow first time you guys hear of them. i guess this blog is directed more towards stephenians, more specifically krizia, ely and the gang. like, when i type, i'm thinking of what i want to say to you guys. haha. :D don't you feel special?

if you think i'm going to label this post, yeah. i will. and it's so depressing to think about it. so, good bye now. my fingers are aching slightly but not quite yet. my back on the other hand feels like it's going to give in any time now. bye loves! tag if you read till here and let me know by using the wobbuffet emoticon! yay! :D (the shortcut for that emoticon is >.<)

Official Sem Starter (aka the post where I rant about my teachers)

Tuesday, November 13, 2007

I kind of didn't want to do this post because my blog is very easily accessible and any bad thing I write about my teachers in here will be broadcast to the whole world somehow. like last time i said something about mr maquiling and apparently a simple search of his name on google would lead to my blog. buti na lang puro positive ( i think) and mga sinasabi ko tungkol sa kanya. even the teachers themselves sometimes search for their own names (narcissistic much?) on google. i'll just try to be reaaally tactful and avoid writing their full names so that it'll be unlikelier to appear on google or yahoo or wherever.

ANYWAY ranting starts NOW
(arranged in order of first meeting)

ES lab: sir "jeff" araula: he told us to call him jeff. looks young, but apparently in his case, young is not synonymous to fun. he seems um, boring (goodbye tact) but first impressions don't last. right? right???

ES lecture: mr claveria: he's terror or something apparently. but i can survive naman daw as long as i memorize everything (that came from somebody who is a MASTER at memorizing stuff while I can't memorize anything). fingers crossed. ES is easy science daw. yeah right.

Math: mr david: uh. he looks a lot like the lead actor in the korean movie "the beast and the beauty". and he's another boring one. so much for my teachers last sem all being fun.

En12: ms, oh pardon me, DR suarez: mukhang mabait pero not fun again. self admitted OC. no idea if it's a good thing or not. but my lit teacher says she gives good grades, so that's a good thing, right?

Lit14: mr cayanan, yay!:the only subject where i like my teacher (except maybe p.e.) because he was also our teacher last sem! yay! same classmates too, so it's a plus (same for english but it's just different with a different teacher) anyway i'm looking forward to lit class, really. he's fun!

P.E. (taekwondo): mr morales: looks like a nice teacher. but really, in p.e., nice is all that matters.

Fil12: mr respeto: he's funny and does not seem all that strict. so far so good. i dont like my seat though. it's not that i dont like my teacher, di ko cya feel eh. maybe it's because he looks at you weirdly and stuff. oh and there's something else about him which i will not put here because i might get in trouble but if you're his student you probably know what i'm talking about. ;)

AND THAT'S IT! YAY!

new background and color scheme again

this was the one i was talking about... isn't it pretty? :D it might be hard to read for some people though, so i might edit it a bit... comments people! ;)

It's my sister's birthday!

Monday, November 5, 2007

Happy birthday, Cheryl! Yay!

new background and color scheme

Yay! I might keep this for about a day or so and then change it because i found a pic that looks uber cool and that will be up maybe tomorrow or on wednesday. well actually maybe till i get enough feedback. :D hope you like this one! no headache but still chirpy and bright... a little too bright in my opinion (that's why i want to change it soon) :D

Final Grades

Well. My final average was 3.31. However, the requirement for DL is not 3.3 as I had thought but 3.35. o.O

Anyway, 3.31 is already high, I guess... the only difference from my prediction a few posts back was that my English grade was B+ and not B, while my Fil grade was B and not B+. So much for Fil being my "pambawi". After all this time, Fil still is the death of me.

Oh well, that's life. At least hindi ako tanggal sa course di ba? Next sem na lang ulit. :D

Updates

Sunday, November 4, 2007

If you're seeing the background white, it's not an error. The old background was kind of giving me a headache so now it's just all white. I'll upload a new background sometime soon when I find a nice one.

Oh yeah new linkie over there ---->

It's Darlene who I don't know in person but she found out about my blog through Multiply and added me to her list of links. Isn't that nice? At least somebody appreciates my blog *coughcough* just kidding... haha. :D She's a fellow Hana Kimi and NAKATSU lover! yay! hello Darlene! *waves* everybody say hello! (actually she might not be back, but hey, I'm being optimistic here!)

Oh and new music soon, I just downloaded all of Jpop (Japanese pop) band ARASHI's singles. Yay! I was watching the PV (Music video. Dont ask me what the P stands for.) of their song "We Can Make It" and I HAD to stop it halfway because MatsuJun's wink was too much for me to handle. Eep. (I couldn't resist that bit of fangirling. I'm sorry)

And um, that's about it. I'm done. More tomorrow about my FINAL GRADES!!! Dundundunnnnnnnn!!!!

Last Sunday, we went to the Chinese temple and guess who we saw? Candice! And her parents and even Maxine, actually. Hehe, wala lang, kwentuhan cyempre, about lots of stuff since it really has been a long time since we talked to each other.

Anyway, I totally messed up. We were supposed to get the final grades (FINGERS CROSSED) and registration forms for enrollment tomorrow and I misinformed everyone (haha) because I thought we had to be there at respective times. This is not my fault in any way however *ahem* because I thought it was going to be like last sem where EVERYTHING was by random number. How would I know???? 3 weeks of sembreak and look what all the internet surfing and drama watching has done to my poor unused brain.

Moving on. Yesterday, Riezeryl and I went on a drama shopping spree in Ongpin. Well, actually it wasn't much of a spree since we were both on tight budgets but I managed to buy 3 dramas namely "Coffee Prince", "My Name is Kim Sam Soon" and "Brown Sugar Macchiato". Riez bought 3 too... :D anyway, I should have just downloaded through the internet, so much cheaper that way, and also i can watch on my dvdrom-less laptop. After lunch we went to Jenalyn's house and looked at all her dramas as always, and also got to see how evil Multimedia Arts is (that's her course)

FINAL GRADES. FINAL GRADES. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Nanowrimo update: Still too lazy but i've got a REAL plot this time. I'll try tomorrow, keyword being "try". That 50k victory is starting to look hazy from my point of view. BUT being the ever optimistic me, I'll do whatever I should to reach that goal! Which means stop being lazy. Haha.

ONGA PALA MATH CHALLENGE NA SA November 12! I can't go. I have classes. Boo. Maybe I'll drop by before commuting to Ateneo though, I'm still not sure. I don't know my schedule by heart yet.

For the Benefit of the Non-Fangirls

Thursday, November 1, 2007

I guess this "personal" blog of mine is becoming less and less personal. Thus I'm going to post something about my daily life.

Last Sunday (if you read my sister's multiply blog you'll know about this) we went to MoA to see this exhibit of the Shroud of Turin which is basically the rumored burial cloths of Jesus Christ with his image and his FACE imprinted on it. Is it real? I don't know. I don't really care, though. I mean, so what if that piece of cloth has Jesus's face on it? It doesn't mean anything. It's no big deal.

The exhibit, on the other hand, was ugly. (Sorry for the term) And it wasn't even free, we just managed to get the tickets for free but lots of people paid to see that exhibit. It was neither amazing nor life-changing. Actually it was just plain boring. My 8-year-old cousin was freaked out by the "lights and sounds" presentation which was basically just video presentations which were blurry and low quality and gave us headaches. And there were "dioramas" or sculptures (or paper mache, i couldnt tell) that depicted Jesus's death just like in the movie "Passion of the Christ" but uglier. The "Shroud" was just a replica, anyway.

I'll post more tomorrow

BTW NaNoWriMo Word Count=0. (excuse: went to buddhist temple in the morning; truth: too lazy, watched PotC 2 in the afternoon. likes it better now than before)

Labels | "Wonder Boy" and "Haeng Bok" (Super Junior)

I'm sick of putting labels. Yech. There are tooooooo many.... haha... At first I was putting General labels, then later on I got more detailed so I went back and made everything detailed and now it's TOO detailed.

I'll finish labeling next year. But for now I'll label all my posts properly!

Song sharing! "Wonder Boy" by KPop group Super Junior (they have 13 members! o.O) theme song for the movie "Attack on the Pin-up Boys" which I think I already mentioned before. 2nd song is Haeng Bok (Happiness or Xing Fu in Chinese) by them also. :)

Happy Halloween!

Densha Otoko

Stupid me. I never mentioned my username on NaNoWriMo. It's "kiore". So, buddy me, if ever you plan on joining. um. yeah.

I'm watching a new drama called "Densha Otoko" which basically means "Train Man". Apparently this was really popular in Japan because it's a true story.

Summary: A true love story turned to bestselling novel, created from the Internet BBS, 2channel to blockbuster hit movie. Ito Misaki plays Aoyama Saori, working as an office lady at a MNC, gets into trouble with a drunkard on a train. She's saved by Yamada Tsuyoshi, played by Ito Atsushi. As a form of appreciation, she sends him Hermes teacups. Having no experience with the opposite sex, Tsuyoshi decides to ask for help on the Aladdin Channel BBS on how to interact with Saori. (taken from http://wiki.d-addicts.com)

So anyway, there's also this translation project going on of the original 2ch thread (kind of like forums but faster thus somewhat like chat) which you can find here. it's a fun read, kind of confusing but you can probably understand it. it's nice to see how all the people on the channel are helping out the Train Man in his quest for loooooove. :D oh and it stars oguri shun!

Watch it on crunchyroll. Yay. (Honestly, Japan should pay me for all the plugs I've been putting in my blog. But then again, it's not as if people watch the dramas after reading about them in my blog so maybe i'm hoping too much. ;) )

Things

Tuesday, October 30, 2007

My sister's birthday is on Monday, November 5! Yay!

Finished Gokusen. Such a nice series. :)

Have been preparing for NaNoWriMo. That means I have a plot in my mind. Maybe a good thing, maybe not. I have no idea. I'm just hoping real hard that something solid will result from this. :D

Anyway, song sharing! Yay! The Potential Breakup Song by Aly & AJ. :D

NaNoWriMo

Monday, October 29, 2007

okay, this is something that does not concern japanese guys and dramas of any sort. i know my blog has been filled with that stuff for the past few weeks and it will continue to go that way (i'm sorry) BUT for this post i'm announcing something: i'm joining NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month. (Why is it called NaNoWriMo if it's international anyway?)

So, um, actually this is kind of big for me because i've never written anything remotely long enough to be called a novel but i have tons of ideas just swimming around in my head and i can't wait to let them out. and if you must know, writing a novel is one of my biggest dreams which i could probably have finished eons ago had i not been a lazy bum.

anyway i'm posting this here because in the NaNoWriMo introduction email it said:

"Tell everyone you know that you're writing a novel in November. This will pay big dividends in Week Two, when the only thing keeping you from quitting is the fear of looking pathetic in front of all the people who've had to hear about your novel for the past month. Seriously. Email them now about your awesome new book. The looming specter of personal humiliation is a very reliable muse. "

Oh yeah.

You guys want to join? Clickie! And if you're already a participant, add me so we can be noveling buddies! yay!

hm. marami rin palang pinoy na sumali. :D

So um, yeah. i'm done. Good luck and God bless! (to me and to other participants)

hee.

Saturday, October 27, 2007

i just realized something and i'm too in shock to not say anything about it.

if you've watched Gokusen, you must remember Minami, one of the members of Sawada and Uchi's (MatsuJun and Oguri Shun) crowd.

Okay, now think Hana Kimi. Who in Hana Kimi looks like that??

Tennouji-sempai! The 1st dorm head... when i realized i was like O.O stupid! why didn't i realize earlier???

you guys don't relate. haha :D

Seishun Amigo (Shuji to Akira)

another feel good song. nothing feels better than listening to japanese pretty boys. haha! actually i feel like i'm the only one who feels good after listening to these "feel good" songs that i post. hmm. oh well, enjoy! :D this is from nobuta wo produce *note to self: must add this to obsessions list*

kakkoi desu!

just finished watching a Korean movie entitled "The Beast and the Beauty". you can watch it on Youtube :) it's a fun movie, but it wasn't perfect, just sweet.

another Korean movie I watched last night "Attack on the Pin-up Boys" which starred this 13 member Korean boyband. it was another fun movie, but it was nothing special. just plain fun.

been watching more Gokusen. and um, wanted to write something about Kamenashi Kazuya (he's there on my obsessions list). I saw him on Nobuta wo Produce and I liked him better than Yamapi who played Akira (in fact I still have no idea what it is with Yamapi which everybody likes... haha, I guess we all have different tastes. Speaking of which, I have weird tastes when it comes to guys... haha) and he's not even drop dead gorgeous, he's just cool and stuff... in Japanese fangirl language, he's "kakkoi". :D

and um, okay, photos time... i dont have a lot of pics of Kame, but here's one i found somewhere :D isnt he cute? >.<

new music! yay! this time, no more hana kimi... haha, i like this song better. :)

it's Wish by ARASHI from Hana Yori Dango (i'm not sure if it's HYD 1 or 2)

enjoy! it's a feel-good song... i was feeling kind of depressed but once i listened to it, i felt better, so maybe you guys will too :)

posting it here in my post so that multiply peeps will be able to enjoy it too :)

changes

took out the "LOVES" section and made it "CURRENTLY OBSESSING OVER". it will be changed from time to time. :) also, it is arranged in order, from 1 being really obsessed with, and the higher numbers being less yet still obsessed with.

btw, this is for my blogspot blog only, not my multiply. my multiply has a new layout though. :D

here's some love (dont worry, no more japanese guys ;) )

bored bored bored

my last post was my 313th post... yeah... you know, i was born on march 13? yeah. um. wala lang.

i've been sharing hana kimi love for the past few days... i was burning the series on dvds and giving them away... haha, but not to everyone! just people i thought would appreciate it... :) of course if you want a copy just ask. :)

and um. well basically my life has been very boring. i was watching gokusen earlier because princess hours wasn't working... gokusen is funny, and guess what, it was my uncle who lent it to me... haha never thought he'd be the type... maybe i should lend him hana kimi. hmmmm... oh wait that's a bad idea because hana kimi has topless guys in it. :))

Official Sem Ender

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

English: I think I'll get a B or B+, not that sure. Or I might get a C+, though I doubt it. Actually, I'm just hoping I won't get a C+... because if that happens being a dean's lister would be impossible. Also, I might get the same teacher next sem. But I'm not happy about that, sorry.

Lit: Sure B+, chance for an A. Reeeeally hoping for an A. I think this is the only subject where I have a chance of getting an A. I really like my lit teacher, but I don't think I'll be getting him next sem. Boo.

Physics: Hay physics. B or B+. OK teacher. Challenging course.

Filipino: No idea. I hope I'll get a B+ though, but my ugly long test score might not make it possible. Once again, hoping for a B+, or even an A. A! A! A! Love the teacher.

Asian History: Surprise, surprise! I get a B+! Was even exempted from the finals... a HUGE surprise, since I was suffering from History. I got a midterm mark of D, but thanks to our amazing play, B+!!! Yes! Fun teacher but really hard... and evil. ;P

Physics Lab: Evil teacher. B+. No other comments.

P.E.: A! Yay! Yayyyyyy!!!

And so...

En11: B = 3 x 3 units = 9
Lit13: B+ = 3.5 x 3 units = 10.5
Ps1: B = 3 x 3 units = 9
Fil11: B+ = 3.5 x 3 units = 10.5
Hi16: B+ = 3.5 x 3 units = 10.5
Ps2: B+ = 3.5 x 1 units = 3.5
PE105: A (not included in QPI or average)

Total: 53 (divided by 16 units) = 3.3125

The requirement for DL is 3.3.

I can't go any lower or I'm dead.

Oh well. At least I'm still in MH. :)

THINGS I LEARNED THIS SEMESTER (aside from classroom stuff)

  1. NEVER interrupt a class that is not yours, especially a philosophy class. Philo teachers are evil.
  2. NEVER request for free cut, especially if the teacher looks like he's on drugs and you're not the type who makes "sipsip" with teachers.
  3. NEVER talk about electric fans in Physics class even if it has something to do with the lesson.
  4. NEVER write weird comments when the teacher asks you to evaluate her.
  5. NEVER volunteer to talk to teachers for org activities, especially if it is none of your business.
  6. NEVER forget to wear your ID, especially when evil spy guards are in sight.
  7. NEVER join several orgs. You get tired of them eventually. And you waste money. And you get shirts that are too tiny to fit a 3-year old kid, let alone you.
  8. NEVER skimp on lunch. You'll get hungry after your classes and spend all your money pigging out.
  9. NEVER buy a shirt that does not fit you. Especially if it is expensive and you don't have money. (BTW anybody wants to buy a blue Ateneo shirt, female size L, that says "Good things come in blue and white"?)
  10. NEVER blog about teachers being evil especially if there is a big chance that they'll read your post. But since there is like, 0.01% chance of my teachers reading this, or even remembering me, it's okay. :)
Wow. I learned a lot, huh. :D

Wasting time

I just finished the Japanese dorama (yeah you call it "dorama" because that's how they call it, okay?) "Nobuta wo Produce". Such a sweet drama. About friendship and stuff. And Horikita Maki (Mizuki in Hana Kimi) is in it! I liked Shuji and I didn't really like Akira, but Nobuta was great. I almost cried at the ending >.< I thought it could have had more romance in it, though, but it's great the way it is.

Few days ago (on Sunday, I think) I finished another dorama "Akihabara@Deep". It's about a bunch of otaku (anime geeks, basically) who become "troubleshooters" for their city of Akihabara which is otaku haven (a real place in Japan, apparently). It was a fun drama, with a touching ending. The characters are also fun and very real (in a way. okay, never mind. they're not that real.) but no romance. Boo. I was hoping for romance between them. >:P I watched this because of Ikuta Toma, who plays Box. >.<

Now I think I'm gonna watch Princess Hours aka Goong, which is by the way, Korean and not Japanese. As if you didn't know that. And then I have to watch the anime dvds my friend lent me because it has been months since I borrowed it. Same goes for Goong, I also borrowed it a long long time ago. Haha, oh well. I also have this Korean drama I bought which I haven't even watched yet... and the books. Don't get me started on the books.

This is going to a very long sem break indeed.

;)

Okay, so if you must know i've really been collecting pictures of Ikuta Toma. I never collect pictures, not even of Wu Zun (who i'm getting kind of sick of... but still I wished him a happy birthday! (getting defensive)) but Toma is just so lovable and all, thus I present to you pics of Toma! :D (not too much though since you guys aren't as obsessed as I am... i'll just wallow in my folder of toma goodness on my own later...)

krizia, this is for you!

today is Blog Action Day and we're supposed to blog about the environment! yay!

and so i just want to say GUYS! Don't turn on the aircon if you don't need it! take the LRT or walk or take a sidecar instead of taking tricycle or riding in cars or jeepneys. Oh geez, jeepneys. they're the worst contributor of greenhouse gases (aha physics!) to the atmosphere... and BUSES. and if your car also emits lots of smoke that means you're killing the world sloooowly.

anyway, you guys can join BLOG ACTION DAY too if you want. although, you know, it's today so it's kind of late i guess... oh well. next year na lang. or it's late. i don't think it matters. actually i really don't know how it works. baka di naman ako pwede maging kasali kasi ang worthless ng environment post ko which is that previous paragraph over there.

ANYWAY forget that... moving on.

the other day i went to megamall with my blockmates, yay! :D we went ice skating... ooooh.... then we went to see "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" which is an ok movie. if you aren't sensitive or conservative or anything like that then go watch it. it's fun. yay.

then on saturday afternoon, the very nice person who is me did not go visit Isen (who had dengue but is ok now i think and is no longer in the hospital) but instead went to SM San Lazaro with Ja and Ana. yeah.... i'm the worst person ever.

now the guilt is stabbing me. guilt guilt guilt. stab stab stab. i still have his lock with me. aw geez.

i'm done. expect the next post to be far far away. sorry.

post number two hundred and ninety nine

Wednesday, October 3, 2007

yeah, one more to go. yay.

i was just reading my old posts, from the very first posts here on my blogger blog. man, i was so emo. wait, excerpt:

"Today was our AJSS graduation. As much as I want to celebrate that I no longer have to go to school every single day during my summer vacation, I have yet to wait for the fact, that I will no longer be seeing my new friends, sink in. I'm like that. Will I cry? I will still have to find out. It feels terrible though, especially as I rode the tricycle home, knowing it would be the last time (except if I do go to Ateneo in college, where hopefully, I will meet all the AJSS-ers again). As I was in the LRT with my mom and my sister, reading all the notes in my envelope, I realize that it would be a long long time again before I get to commute back and forth to Ateneo everyday. As I type now, the fact has almost sunk in halfway. I read all your notes, and I feel sorry that I didn't get to know each and every one of you personally. I hate myself for that. (To quote Toni: I hate me! :P) In two weeks, I will be going back to SSHS. And I have a new goal. I want to be as close as I can be to every single one of my classmates. I no longer want to be that shy lonely girl sitting in a corner, all alone. But how do I do this? I don't know yet, but I will try, although that would be quite hard, considering the fact that I think I am naturally shy.... "I think"."
-May 27, 2006. (when my blog was still http://charmaineyv.blogspot.com)

See? emo much? not that we called that "emo" back then. so i couldn't diagnose myself with emoness when i wrote that. yuck. i hate it. i hate being depressed. i'm actually being all depressed now, but you know, i'm trying to shake it off. it's like everything the other way around. i used to be depressed when i was at home, but now, i'm depressed at school. emooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

i hate that word. i shall never use that word in my blog ever again and if i do have to i'd replace it with "bunnies!" so that i'll be forced to think of bunnies and not bunnies!-ness.

get me? :D

so guys, help me! catch me in the act of using the word on my blog. i'll like, punish myself or something. i don't know yet.

anyway more about the excerpt.

so like, i said there that i hated myself for being shy and all. i did. i still do. but i'm less shy now, and i guess it worked. all throughout 4th year, i did my best to be all happy and chipper and talk to everyone. and it worked. still shy, yeah, but so much better. although i still have bunnies! tendencies i'm less that and more happy... thanks guys. love!

298th post

okay, if you're like, OC or something, and you counted my posts or even just added up the numbers down there by the archives, you'll realize that i DON'T have 298 posts. why? because, there are drafts in my blog... stuff i kept in my blogger account but never published. but there are like, 2 or 3 of them, so i'm going to pretend they're posts, ok? good. :)

cge yun na muna. kasi nga hinahabol ko yung isa dyan, that's why there are lots of posts all of a sudden. and also because i'm trying to reach 300 posts soon.

early matteo-ing

still doing that cursed Physics lt... when will this suffering end?

Well, it'll end on Oct 12... which is the last day of the semester! yay! finals week kasi oct8-12 so after that i'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! hanggang november something kasi three weeks sem break... yes! expect me to do nothing but while away the time at home watching dramas or playing computer games, i've got like a week's worth of 60 minute trials downloaded to keep me busy. build a lot, cake mania 2, plant tycoon... you name it, i've got it...

i've even got burger island downloaded on mostfun... that's the game client that let's you play games free with ads... you can find it on mostfun.com... nice din games nya ah. meron sila chocolatier! yay! which i finished eons ago... pati tradewinds legends which i finished in like, a day. and westward, pero nakakainis kasi naglalag... but it's a fun game, medyo nakakainis lang ung pagsasalita nila kc western accent.
